ADVISORY GROUP

The Wetland Centre Project Advisory Group was formed in December 2019 to provide input on the long-term planning of the Boreal Wetland Centre at Evergreen Park. The Advisory Group is composed of members from government, industry, Indigenous groups, education and research, and non-profit organizations who together are exploring options and opportunities for growing the Boreal Wetland Centre project into a long-lasting, hands-on wetlands training, research, and demonstration centre. Advisory Group members meet quarterly and generously provide their time and expertise to shape the vision, mission, and growth of the Boreal Wetland Centre.

Mighty Peace Watershed Alliance, Northern Alberta Institute of Technology - Centre for Boreal Research, Natural Resources Canada, Inside Education, Grande Prairie Friendship Centre, Northwestern Polytechnic, Alberta Environment and Protected Areas, and County of Grande Prairie.
