Ducks Unlimited Canada’s National Boreal Program runs the Boreal Wetland Centre at Evergreen Park in the County of Grande Prairie, Alberta. The Boreal Wetland Centre aims to inspire a culture of responsible resource development through learning and innovation by providing a inclusive environment for resource partners to exchange new ideas, communicate expectations, learn from others, and inspire innovative solutions.

The Boreal Wetland Centre is an outdoor, hands-on demonstration Centre. These types of Centres are important for providing on-the-ground examples of innovative industry solutions, demonstrating avoidance and minimization practices, testing out new ideas, and educating visitors about critical habitat and environmental stewardship. The Boreal Wetland Centre is unique in boreal Canada for providing a central demonstration location that facilitates information sharing and provides opportunities for knowledge exchange among diverse user groups.
